If she wants to advance in the party, she will say whatever to please the party. This is not hard to deduce. Anyway, Cranbury is just too small to be taken seriously.

Linda drives me insane. On one hand she talks about mourning for Corzine then says about Christie, “I feel and hope he will try to work in a non-partisan matter,” Greenstein said of Christie. “He seems like somebody who would want to do that, and I hope he does.”

So reading the message. I am sad Corzine is out because my party does not control the governorship. However, I hope that Christie will do what we say even though I clearly am annoyed he got the job. So it's a do what I say and only what I say type of approach.


Linda is the most partisan person I ever met and it kills me she was re-elected. I asked her a question on Cranbury Day about COAH and her response was to first ask if I was a Republican or Democrat. That ticked me off. Why does it matter? I am a Republican, the only one in my home and everyone in my home still agrees on COAH being bad for Cranbury.

I met a freeholder (name forgotten) who was a Democrat and asked the same question on Cranbury Day. He answered it and I thanked him. I then asked him if it mattered in his response if I was a Democrat or Republican. He said, no why should it? I then explained my prior exchange and he shook his head. While he may not support me for my party, he clearly supported my right to ask a question and to give the same answer regardless of my party. In fact later that day the same freeholder was talking to the people at the Republican candidates table.

Baroni said voters sent a clear message by rejecting Corzine — and also re-electing a Democratic Assembly.

"They wanted a new governor, but at the same time they wanted us to work together," he said. "We better listen. Voters are more than happy to throw us out of office."

In Baroni’s district, which includes parts of Middlesex and Mercer counties, residents re-elected two Democratic Assembly members but also favored Christie.

See Baroni is clear bi-partisan. He talks of the voters and message. That is what we need from all officals.

Just because a member of the republic party has become our new Governor, I don't think that it really means anything for the Congress a year from now. All politics is local. You can only vote for your district Rep. or for US Senator. The only nationwide vote is for President.
I just want the gop wing-nutbags to get too excited over the Christie win. A N.J. republican is NOT the same as a Southern, or Mid-Western Republican. You have to be fairly moderate to survive in the Northeast.
