FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR

Mark your calendar for the annual fireworks event! On July 5th, rain date July 6th, the Mercer County Symphonic Band will perform in Village Park. The entertainment will begin at approximately 6:30pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blanket, picnic dinner, maybe some bug repellant, friends and family for all to enjoy and celebrate our nation’s independence. As dusk falls, sit back and enjoy the spectacular fireworks display.
As a reminder, alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the parks. The Police Department will be checking for this item and will confiscate, if found. Also, please don’t leave a mess behind when you exit. Think of the public park as your back yard, would you leave that mess for others to pick up? Recycling and trash receptacles will be provided for ease of proper disposal.

This year the Fire Company will not be selling glow bands or soda/water. Please BYO! We will still be on location for emergencies and lights. Have a safe and great 4th!

The men's softball league players drink in the park. How come it is never enforced on them?

Any word on this year's firework's display?

Hoping to the band play, a few years ago I remember in Brainerd Lake Park, I think local talent. Those guys were really good. Little buggy that evening.

Hopinng to see something like that again this year.

We do not need to be spending money on unnecessary things like fireworks.
Go to a Mercer or Middelsex County Park.
I'd like to know how much this is going to cost.

Why don't you go move to Mercer County if you are so concerned? What kind of unAmerican nut case are you? Complaining about cost of fireworks? Gimme a break.

And many think this is a good, worthwhile community event. If you disagree, voice your concern in the public portion of a committee meeting.

Where do you get 15,000 from? Please post the source and link. I thought it was less.
