| Considering all the gang violence and shootings in the major cities run by Dems I think there is plenty of blame in both parties for the damage to future generations. |

Good point. The last republican mayor of Minneapolis was in 1974 and a major Democrat contender for president failed to take action to clean up the Minneapolis Police Department, and yet somehow Trump is to blame for George Floyd. |

Actually, science isn’t scared of humans who think they were born the wrong gender; that’s a condition called gender dysphoria. While some species like frogs and butterflies experience massive naturally occurring transformations, 99% of humans are born male or female and will naturally stay that way. It’s not mean, nor is it nonsense. It’s science.
We should not be mean to people who feel that way. We should be supportive while still recognizing the boundaries of reality and the rights of others.
My kid wants to be a pro athlete, but the genetics don’t support that dream. I give encouragement, pay for coaching and camps, etc. However, it would be mean, and confusing, not to recognize the realities at some point, but rather to insist that my kid should be put on that track, and it would be child abuse for me to give my child Human Growth Hormone or Steroids to try to overcome genetics that don’t support that dream. Kids have a lot of dreams and their dreams change and are tempered by reality. That’s life. |
