As a non-resident, I'd like to know if the Cranbury Mill is still standing & if so, directions to find it. We'll be driving in New England in the spring & love to photograph old mills. Thank you. |

If you're referring to the Gristmill on Main Street near Brainerd Lake... no, it is long gone, burned down in 1927. The gristmiller's house still stands, and it is now the Cranbury History Center. (See http://www.cranburyhistory.org/hist_ctr/).
You might be interested in nearby Grovers Mill (of War of the Worlds fame), which is nearby on Cranbury Neck Rd. |
