Got a message from Restaurant.com, saying they no longer participate in their offers. Out of business for good? |

If this is true then it is sad to see. It's difficult when the town loses businesses because fewer people are then coming in and it's harder on the current businesses.
I did notice that the Hot Wok building and Hannah and Mason's building are no longer posted for sale. Hopefully, this is a good sign that they were sold or that Hot Wok is doing better. If the town were to have 3 empty stores- PNC, Hannah and Mason's and Hot Wok it would be a shame. |

If you have a gift certificate, you better use it the day they reopen. If they don't reopen, email Chris Posner and ask him for your money back. |

The Hannah and Mason's building is still posted for sale. If you go to Weidel's website, you can see the listing. |

Maybe teh lease was up and the owner of the building felt itwould be easier to sell without a tenant. That way the buyer could be anyone as opposed to someone who simply wanted to be a landlord.
My hope- Deli is first, restaurant second and third to bring back the old dry cleaner that was there I'dlove to have a dry cleaner in town I could go to. |

lets get something like a deli. The Blue Roosters prices are way to high, and the selection is too limited. Hopefully a deli would provide a quick lunch alternative to the Blue Rooster |

I agree with that. We walked by the BR the other day and they had a "special" a cheese omelette for $11.50, what kind of special is that??? A deli would be great again in town! |

Why does every thread about a restaurant end up with bashing the Blue Rooster don't you realize this and others need support? HM was bashed and we're now down a business in town.
I met a business colleague there for breakfast and he raved. It was the only place I could take someone for a business meeting in our town.
There is no comparing a deli to the blue rooster. They are entirely different things. If you want bagels or something like that there are stores in Plainsboro, Monroe and east windsor. Though I would love there to be a bagel and deli in Cranbury I would not look to the BR to meet that need or complain that they don't. It's like complaining that the post office isn't also a bank. Different businesses.
If you want a good and less expensive breakfast there is Teddy's.
We need to support our businesses. Complaining because they don't serve your food is useless because it's not that type of restaurant, just don't go there.no need to complain.
In terms of cost. How cheap do you want it and still have the ingredents? Plus, there are overhead charges that have to be met. I gladly pay more knowing I get real maple syrup and not sugar water like a diner. That I get organic eggs and vegetables. Anyone who goes shopping knows these items are more expensive. |

I dont think HM went out of business because people were bashing them on cranburyinfo. |

No they did not. However, the attitude displayed here is also displayed in public and among friends. So this is a small sampling of how people are treating our businesses. |
