Where did you get the info that it was a millionaire? I didn't read that anywhere. Seems like you are just creating a story. |
You are right. I made assumptions. If he lives on Danser, as the article suggests, there is a good shot he's a millionaire. If he attacked two cops, he was probably drunk (or high, or both). Any way you look at it, if the guy attacked our Officers, he is a menace to society and the rest of us should encourage him (legally) to leave town. |
Your assumptions are dubious. Danser is shared by middle class homes and some affordable housing.
And what differnce does it make whether the loser doing the assualting is a millionaire or not? You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. |

Really not fair to say we are all Millionaires on Danser since this incident actually occurred over by the affordable housing here on our road. |
Moreover, the Danser Dr. non-affordable housing is far from the most expensive stuff in town, Niccola ct, Silvers lane, etc. I think this guy has his developments confused or he is just trying to stir things up. |
Actually I would list Shady Brook Lane after Nicola. Then Liedke, then the Cubbery and Applegate Courts then maybe Silvers Lane, which the exception of one or two houses on Silvers which would be in the Shady Brook league. |

I shocked to hear this incident happened by the affordable housing. I thought those units were all occupied by retired church choir ladies. |

This forum now blames the problem on either millionaires or poor people. Interesting, pathetic, but interesting. |

So, we pay for this guy to live in our town and he shows his gratitude by beating up his neighbor and attacking two of our police officers? That is pathetic. |

Seriously? First we have the elightened poster who blames it on a millionaire with absolutely no basis for that assumption other than their own prejudice and misinformation. Now we have the same in reverse.
I think we can all agree that the person who did the assault is pathetic regardless of his economic status and that this financial statement has absolutely nothing to do with the assault or how pathetic he is. And no one on this site has the slightest idea what his economic status is anyway. |

You better watch out...your post is actually intelligent. It may not fit in well with some of the silly comments on this forum lately.
Good summary - regardless of who this person is, attacking an officer (on top of whatever incident began this whole episode) deserves whatever consequences are forthcoming. I hope the officers are fine. |

There are dirtbags at every economic level, but to pretend their behavior doesn't tend to manifest itself differently is intellectually dishonest. I realize in this PC world we're supposed to pretend that isn't true, but the results of this willful ignorance are degrading the quality of our community. Why are we required to subsidize a guy like this living in our town? |

So, if it were the millionaire your thesis is? Don't make this a PC issue. Nobody did that until you did. So, you could test out your own brilliant sociological insight based on nothing. The phrase, "..to pretend their behavior doesn't tend to manifest itself differently is intellectually dishonest..." While you may think the phrase is dishonest, I think the phrase is meaningless pseudo academic gobbledegook. Like the guy who blamed this on millionaires's, you seem to want to blame it on something or somebody who fits your convenient world view.
None of us know the facts of the matter or who this individual is. I am glad the officer's were not seriously injured. I have confidence that our legal system will handle this correctly. If you want to begin a bad Sociology textbook using this as an example feel free, but try to get some of the facts before issuing pronouncements. |

Cheney is a good example of a rich and powerful dirtbag. He has probably caused more harm than our entire population of indigent criminals combined. However (hunting accidents aside), I doubt he would assault his neighbors and his local police force. So, who would you rather have as a neighbor, Dick Cheney or Willie DeJesus? |

Cheney. He pays property taxes and doesn't have any school-age children. |

It's always amazing to me that almost everyone on this blog spot goes so far off the subject that's being discussed. Your idiots. How do you go from our officers being assaulted to Cheney?? Who cares how much money anyone makes?? What does it have anything to do about the assault? I sure hope no one from any other towns read posts on this site, If so I'm sure they're laughing at the ridiculous crap that is posted here. |
