Many of you town people must have led a very boring life before this house was started. Now at least you all have something to do, sit at home on your computers and complain about every little detail you can find to complain about. The plans were approved and they have every right to build the house. Its not going to be an eyesore. It's just as big as the other houses around town and it's not a white trash family moving in. The house will be beautiful and well kept and be a beautiful addition to our town.

In fairness I would say a majority of the posts are defending and supporting the house. There is likely exactly one unhappy poster here trashing it.

One very positive thing is that this house is being built at a very rapid rate because of the experience of the owners. This is very positive and will cause a disruption for a minimum amount of time. My guess is in a few months a visitor to town won't even notice its a new house and we will all move on to another subject. I hope after the "Dust settles" the nay sayers will come around to peaceful acceptance of their new neighbor.
