Dell Recalling Millions of Notebook Computer Batteries

Some owners of Dell Latitude, Precision, and XPS notebook computers noticed their laptop batteries overheat, and could be a risk of burning or fire.

The defective batteries were actually manufactured by Sony (and re-branded for Dell), and were sold with some Dell notebook computers from April 2004 through July 2006. Because of this, Dell is recalling those batteries for those models of their notebook computers. To see if your computer is affected:
