Visa Card benefit: extended warranty registration

I purchased a 50" plasma TV recently. I paid it using my Chase Visa card. This card has an "extended warranty" benefit (add one more year to the manufactur's warranty). I just registered my purchase with Visa to get this benefit; details below:

1. Register the purchase

I used this link to create an account (Warranty Manager Service):

http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/benefits/bft_warranty_mgr_eclaims.html

2. Enter the purchase info:

The name of the manufacture, produce model, serial number, purchase price (excluding tax), your contact info (e.g. address, phone, email) etc.

Once you have registered the purchase, the "Warranty Manager Service" will send you a confirmation email. You can use this account to file a claim in the future if necessary.
