State mediator may be brought into talks
Teacher salary increases and health benefits have proved to be a sticking point in Cranbury.
After six months of contract negotiations, the Cranbury Education Association, which represents 60 teachers and other support staff, filed an impasse last week and will seek a state mediator to help negotiate a new three-year contract with the district. The Cranbury School teachers have been working without a contract since July 1.
