Notice from the Tax Assessor's Office

Appraisal Systems, Inc. (ASI) has recently mailed the proposed assessment notices to all residential property owners. If a residential property owner does not receive their notice by December 11, they should call ASI at 973-285-9940 in order to determine why it was not received.

ASI plans to conduct informal reviews with residential property owners in the Township Committee Meeting Room of the Municipal Building, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Additional weekdays and or a Saturday may be added to the schedule if warranted. All appointments for reviews will be handled directly by ASI so please do not call the township office to schedule a review.

ASI also plans to begin mailing to the owners of commercial and qualified farms their proposed assessments notices within the next week and the same procedure for scheduling informal reviews will be utilized for those properties.
