Teachers open year sans pact

Cranbury Teachers Association reach impasse with district
Cranbury teachers will start the school year without a new contract.
Earlier this month, the Cranbury Teachers Association, which represents 60 teachers and other support staff, announced it had reached an impasse after six months of contract negotiations. The impasse cited teacher salary increases and health benefits as the sticking points.
