The township revaluation is complete and residents should have received their final assessments.
The revaluation, the first in the township since 1986, bumped the average residential property value from $219,439 in 2006 to $673,176 in 2007.
But Tax Assessor Steve Benner said the revaluation will affect every property owner differently because every property is different.
The township paid $158,000 to Appraisal Systems Inc., of Mendham, to conduct the revaluation. The process, which was meant to bridge the gap between property values and current market values, began in March 2006.
