This season's second Art in the Park Cranbury Gardens session this Sunday
Red and pale pink roses, purple sage, yellow loosestrife, white astilbe, purple catmint, pink geraniums and climbing white roses are just a few of the flowers nestled in Cranbury resident Alicia Vincelette's gardens.
On Sunday, local artists are invited to Ms. Vincelette's home, at 21 Cranbury Neck Road, to capture these images on their canvases at this season's second Art in the Park Cranbury Gardens session, hosted by the Cranbury Arts Council.
The garden sessions of Art in the Park were added in 2002. The program gives residents an opportunity to volunteer their gardens as painting venues and allows artists from Cranbury and beyond the chance to come together and paint outdoors free of charge. Artists who participate can choose to submit up to six of their works for consideration in the Gourgaud Gallery's December exhibit.
