Township to pay $3.05 million to property owner, according to agreement.

After nearly two years of negotiations and litigation, the township and the owner of the 53-acre Fischer property have come to an agreement to buy what township officials have called the gateway to the southern end of town.
The township will pay $3.05 million to the property's owner, Margaret Angelo of Bridgewater, to buy the parcel.
