Cranbury school is ready for students

With its first day of school coming on Wednesday, the Cranbury School is ready to open its doors and welcome the 2007-2008 academic year.

John Haney, Cranbury School's new principal and chief school administrator, has a pretty good idea of what students should anticipate on their first day back.

"They can expect a lot of excitement. They can expect to meet up with all their friends and to catch up with each other and meet their new teachers," he said.

As a new addition to the Cranbury School family, Mr. Haney will be doing his part to reach out to the students and their parents.

"I'll be greeting people, making sure their schedules work and answering questions and just being visible," he said.

And the school's faculty has been working hard to prepare for the new school year.
