Every year Money intentionally changes the criteria of their list so you can never compare year-over-year and it always represents a fairly narrow segment of municipalities. This year the criteria is towns/cities with at least 50,000 people and not more than 250,000. It is interesting that a bunch of the larger towns around us made the list. And I don't know many people who would choose to live in them over a place like Cranbury or even Plainsboro, West Windsor or South Brunswick. Even the two Princeton's were too small for eligibility. It's ironic, in fact, that Hamilton and Edison made the list when the supporters of COAH have listed them as places hurt by the previous RCA and COAH policies. |
