FYI: a community project to remember victims of 2004 tsunami

MAKING WAVES is a community project to
remember victims of the December 2004 tsunami and to
raise funds to help their communities rebuild.

Goals:

· To fold 150,000 origami waves—in remembrance of each
life swept away in the 2004 tsunami.

· To raise $150,000 for CARE USA, to be designated for
reconstruction projects in South and Southeast Asian
communities devastated by the tsunami.

· To respond as a community to great need in other
communities.
