IT’S A VALENTINE’S DAY MASSACRE ON

“KITCHEN NIGHTMARES”

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6, ON FOX

Chef Ramsay is called to the quaint little town of Cranbury, NJ, to help two friends who bought Hannah & Mason’s, a French bistro they used to work in. Both owners and the 23-year-old manager lack experience and passion, creating a recipe for disaster. When Gordon finds out that many of the staff’s paychecks bounce week after week he knows he has to make some major changes to keep this restaurant afloat. However, during Valentine’s Day dinner service, he stumbles upon the grossest, most disgusting, most appalling thing he’s ever seen in a kitchen cooler and is forced to shut the restaurant down on their busiest night of the year. Will Chef Ramsay be able to get through to the inexperienced, lazy owners or will he be forced to crush their dreams on KITCHEN NIGHTMARES airing Thursday, Nov. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (KN-114) (TV-14 L)

Cast: Head Chef Gordon Ramsay

I always loved hannah & Mason's before kitchen nightmares and love it still. The airing of Kitchen Nightmares will only humanize this great restaurant.

Hello all,
as we prepare to be "exposed" on thursday, I would like to thank all of our supporters over the years. We have a great following here, and always look forward to seeing familiar names in our reservation book, and familiar faces in our dining rooms. I can only hope those of you who know us realize why we did the show, and that it was, in fact, just a show. I think you'll see that the "grossest", etc. find Gordon Ramsey had in my walkin cooler is simply something that one would never find in my restaurant. I have been working in foodservice for over 20 years, and I run a clean and decent establishment. But let me not harp on that...after reading the synopsis, I felt, again, totally betrayed by the show...I guess I'm not thick skinned enough...but I am passionate, as those of you who know me are aware. Also, my regulars know most of my staff by first name because they have been with me for several years...they don't stay with me because I bounce their checks week after week (not that it hasn't happened ...I mean I do run a small business and I'm human). My point is, please tune in to the show, but please view it as a SHOW. Don't believe everything you hear...and only half of what you see...Thanks again for your support.
Sincerely,
Christopher Posner
Chef/owner
Hannah & Mason's
P.S. if anyone wants to know the 'lowdown' on the filming of the show, my staff and I are always on hand to have good conversation to go with our good food...

I understand the show might exaggerate a bit but why would you go on a show that you KNOW comes to clean up dirty resturaunts? If you were doing it to draw people to your place I wouldnt have went on KITCHEN NIGHTMARES! Have you seen the show before you signed up?

This show should be great. Awful place, though. They squandered a great opportunity to learn from someone that actually knows what he's doing. I really want to like this place, but the food is just awful. Owners should try Bistro Soliel in Hightstown to see what a good restaurant is.

Wow, I'm surprised by the comment above. Everytime I have gone there the food and service have been excellent.

We are lucky here in Cranbury as we have H&M, The Cranbury Inn, Teddy's, The Blue Rooster, Cranbury Pizza, and the Cranbury wok which all do a fine job and each has their own niche here in town.

I guess taste is subjective - I too was suprised by the "awful place" note. Perhaps this person went on an off night - that is why I always try a restaurant twice. If it is terrible both time, I never go back again.

I actually love the food at H&M. If the worse thing that is shown tonight is that the owners are lazy, that is not a negative for me to not eat there again.

Just to reiterate what Chris said the other day, from someone who worked through the whole debacle in addition to the 4 wonderful years I spent at H&M...

Don't believe everything you hear...and only half of what you see...

Chef Ramsay is a character, and Kitchen Nightmares is a show. If you love the restaurant, than there is obviously a reason, and absolutely no one works harder than Chris Posner to make his customers happy and his business successful. Even if it meant selling his soul to the dev... oops, I mean Gordon Ramsay.

Take it all with a big grain of sea salt.

Long live H&M....

Just watched the show. I've dined at H&M's 3 times before the show, and twice after. The food has always been mediocre. The farm concept would have been a great improvement. Simplifying their food and menu makes total sense.

The show was actually better and less problematic then the others they have aired. I love the food.

I agree the show wasn't as bad as some but it was still quite gross. I may think twice about the chicken when I return. It was a gamble. I hope Chris and Brian come out winners becuase I would hate to say goodbye to another small business that contributes so much to the appeal of Main Street. Terhune Orchards and Pam Mount most be thrilled. The show was certainly a commercial for Jersey apples! Crunch!
