As the colder weather approaches and the lake starts to freeze - they should consider putting the no skating sign up just to be safe.
Keep your fingers crossed - we might actually have some ice skating this year! |

The no skating sign will usually go up as soon as there is a layer of ice over the whole top of the lake. It's usually common sense that if you see water that is not frozen that you don't go on what little ice is there. |

And the other poster said did you call town hall. The sign will go up as soon as there is a possibility of people thinking the ice is frozen as every year. |

The ice rink near the entrance to village park is full and looks like just waiting for these cold temps to freeze. |
