Public works does a great job and the sandbags were a nice gesture however the little that were in place really would not have done much to stop the water if it really did rise that far up the street. It was more for show then anything. |

Why must every time someone says something positive, some "Anonymous Person" feel the need to make a negative comment.
Fact is the public works did a great job !
I also watched the cops lugging tree branches (Good Size), snow fence, and garbage cans out of the roadways while it was pouring out.
All these guys did a great job with this crazy storm ! |

Why is it public works responsibility to sandbag on main street anyway? I live along the lake and my house doesn't get sandbaged by the town I have to worry about that myself. We all know that there is the chance of flooding ,when you live near a lake.Did any of the residents that received this service help with the sandbagging? I would probably guess the answer is probably" NO". |
