Porch roof help

We have an overhang above our front porch that is flat and collects water. The result is rotten wood all around the edges of the porch roof.

We had a handyman out a couple years ago to replace the wood but now it's rotten again and this time he suggested we talk to someone--maybe a roof repairman--who might be able to install some sort of drainage mechanism.

Can anyone suggest a person/company who might handle something like this?

I would call Frank McDonald. 609-655-2288.

He knows old houses and will come up with a fix. with that type of roof, you should have or need built in/yankee gutters to drain it properly.
