As in the Canada? Because NY State isn't any better. I agree Christie has proven a major disappointment though. |

Christie has kept his wing-nut-ness fairly well hidden - I don't think he can compete with the other tea party patriots unless he starts to say stuff like this |

Actually, if you read the article instead of just buying into the reporter's biased headline characterization of Christie's comments, you'll see that according to the article Christie said it was not proven and that more science is necessary. A true scientist might just as easily make these same comments in the same way that much of what we accept as scientific "fact" is characterized by scientists as "theory".
I look at his comments as purposely vague, which to me demonstrates political intellect. As a Governor, he doesn't have to take a firm position on global warming. And he didn't. |

Why is "purposely vague" about an important issue like this OK with you and the Republican party? I would much rather see someone with real intellect entrusted as our Governor. Most scientists agree there is a high probability that humans are causing global warming and that we should act on it right now, so what will it take to make you people believe it? look for China to become the new superpower, their leadership is trained as scientists and engineers and they are not wasting their time on ridiculously vague posturing about important issues like this. |

Because this is a national issue, not a state issue. And because that's the way the real world of politics works, on both sides of the aisle.

So to paraphrase your comments, scientists aren't sure humans are causing global warming, but you think we should do "something" about it. Sounds vague to me. Your comments sounds very similar to Christie's.

Yeah! Let's look to China- the world's #1 dirty manufacturer- for leadership on the environment. They're not wasting their time with vague posturing, they're raping their environment at an epic pace! |

Christie's flatulence may be partly responsible for global warming. |
