State is helping school district with increased enrollment needs.
The school district will get some help from the state to help cover the cost of increased enrollment for the 2005-2006 school year.
School Business Administrator Brian DeLucia said Thursday the Board of Education will receive $26,775 from the state Department of Education in addition to regular state aid through the Above Average Enrollment Growth Fund. The district received the same amount of aid from the fund last year.
Mr. DeLucia said money is provided through the grant program for districts whose enrollment growth is above the state's average.
Enrollment to Cranbury School is slated to increase by 24 tudents in the 2005-2006 school year.
