| At least this year you have a choice to pick a vendor who can pick up trash on Christmas. Next year you might not have that same choice. |

What happens if my service day falls on a holiday?
As a general rule, residential waste will be collected on the next scheduled service day, not the day after the holiday. The driver will take twice as much trash on the pickup following the holiday. Commercial service may be done on the day before or the day after the holiday, and all commercial routes may run up to one day late for that week. Industrial customers who are on a regular schedule will be called to make arrangements.
