Just a reminder that this year the Cranbury Police will be enforcing the no alcohol rule in the Village Park; no exceptions.

UMM ok - Thanks for the reminder of fireworks - but I think we are all adults here!!

Plus I dont think the cops can search everyone - I have brought my drinks in cups and walked right by the cops!!

Do whatever you like (not just in the park) and take the consequences. You may regret and then it's too late.

Mr. Taylor stated on Monday that the police will be searching bags and coolers coming in. Since there are only two ways in (unless you swim) then it's fairly easy to do this.

So either comply or lose it. I don't see the need to bring beer in as so strong that I can't go without for 3 hours.

I dont think the police will be searching everyone's bags - do you know how long that will take?? And there are plenty of other ways to get in the park. How about from the highway?? Many places over there.....

Anyway - why is everyone making a big deal about this?? Who cares if some people bring in beer??

Maybe I will just bring in a joint and smoke it in the woods.... LOL!

How about we bring a bottle of white, a bottle of red, Perhaps a bottle of rosé instead?

This is a great family event - it is not a drunken free for all. Frankly I have to disagree with this one. Many families bring a picnic dinner, including wine or a few beers. But oh well...still is a fun time.
