To All Cranbury Residents,
Cranbury Township has contracted with Ashbritt to remove and dispose of all brush due to Hurricane Sandy. In order to expedite this process all brush must be placed at the curb by no later than Monday, November 26, 2012. Please note that brush on private property will not be removed. Please do not mix any other materials, including leaves, with the brush.
Ashbritt will be picking up brush one time only over a period of two to three weeks.
The Township Committee is sympathetic to the inconvenience this has caused and appreciates your patience over the next few weeks as we continue to recover from Hurricane Sandy. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works department at 609-395-0544 ext-229.
Sincerely,
Mayor David Cook |

CRANBURY TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE 11-12-13 – AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CRANBURY BY CREATING A NEW SECTION 116, ENTITLED “PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE” (Second Reading, December 10, 2012).
The agenda for Monday's 11/26 township meeting contains an introduction of the property maintenance code. The document is not yet available on the town web site as has been general practice. From what I understand, there are provisions for height of grass and what can be stored on private property. There is also provision for a new staff position to enforce this code (of course that translates to more spending and potential tax increase).
Whether you are for this new law or opposed, it would be important to show up at the meeting to have your voice heard. |

I found it on the town web site. Seems like the general practice is being followed to me.
