PLAINSBORO — Two young Cranbury siblings received more than 10 charges between them after allegedly crashing their car into a curb and then into three other vehicles on Hampshire Drive before fleeing on foot last Sunday night, according to police.

Police said they arrived to Hampshire Drive at 10:30 p.m. on June 30 and found an abandoned and heavily damaged 2001 GMC Jimmy.

Witnesses told them the driver and passenger had fled on foot.

However, while they were investigating, 20-year-old Thomas T. Peters came up to them and said he was the driver of the vehicle. But police said they later found out his sister, Catherine L. Peters, 18, had been the driver.

Ms. Peters allegedly lost control of the car while driving on Hampshire Drive, causing her to hit the curb, cross into the other lane and then hit three parked cars: a 2012 Toyota Camry, a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2002 Mazda Protégé. The three cars all belonged to people living in one residence, according to the police report.
Police said all of the cars suffered heavy damages.

Ms. and Mr. Peters were both arrested at the scene: Ms. Peters was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia and Mr. Peters was charged with obstruction of justice and hindering apprehension.

Ms. Peters also received summonses for unlicensed driver, reckless driving, careless driving, unsafe driving, failure to maintain a lane, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and obstructing traffic.

@OP

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

I am sure your world is perfect and never had problems.

Too bad there are those here that are amused with the misfortune of others.

I don't blindly believe what I see reported anymore, especially on this forum and the plagarized content lifted from incredible news sources.

Shame on those that follow and behaive like this OP.
