Dear Editor,

It is on behalf of all the candidates in Column A that I write to you. Starting at the top with Governor Christie, followed by Senator Peter Inverso (LD 14 Senator candidate), Ron Haas, Steve Cook (both LD 14 Assembly candidates), next in line at the County level, Jose Martinez (Sheriff candidate), Roger Daley, Jordan Rickards, and Bob Jones (all Middlesex County Freeholder candidates) and Dan Mulligan and Tom Connolly both candidates for Cranbury Township Committee.

For all the years I have been involved in politics, this year in particular, the column is slated with excellent candidates from top to bottom. http://eastwindsor.patch.com/groups/announcements/p/vote-column-a-all-the-way

Are you as interested if whether any of the people in Column B took money or were endorsed by extremist groups on the left?

Don't know how the original poster feels, but Yes _ I think we all would be interested in that information - left or right _ Which extremist groups are giving money to candidates and who are they endorsing.

I am skeptical of any advice to vote for all candidates in any column, without any specific basis for why each candidate deserves my vote. In the absence of it, it sounds too much like blindly following a perceived ideology or advocating just because someone supports a given political club. I am voting back and forth across the columns, personally - both locally and state.

not ideology, but deeds. I think you can look at a candidate's character by looking at the deeds of the organizations and groups that support him/her - trans vaginal probes, voter repression, anti-gay bias, restricting women's rights, rape politics, shutting down government for political reason - and even exploiting the death of our ambassadors by terrorists .... on and on.
I guess a candidate who affiliates him/herself with a party that commits such deeds might get my vote if he/she publically disavowed them - fat chance
