Please join Chief Varga and myself Saturday May 31 from 7-9 in the morning at Teddy's for conversations, questions and hopefully answers and discussion about Cranbury topics of your concern. Coffee is on us!
Note that after this coffee, for several events, other members of your Township team will be joining me for these chats. Send me your recommendations on who you would like to invite and I will see what we can do.
Hope to see you tomorrow. Susan |

Special Thanks to George and his team at Teddy's for sharing their space with us on Saturday morning. Much smaller turnout this week which I hope means you were all either sleeping in, getting an early start on your chores so you could enjoy the beautiful day, or just relaxing. General discussion continues about the Beautification project and it appears that a lot of people are real pleased with the outcome. We did speak with residents about traffic concerns, particularly truck traffic on Plainsboro Road. As you may know, this is not a truck route and signs are posted Plainsboro clearly stating that only local deliveries are permitted but we still have a significant problem with truckers taking Plainsboro Road to Route130 and the Turnpike.Chief Varga discussed most problematic times for this behavior and will be stepping up patrols. When ticketed, fines levied can be as high as $750 but it appears that more patrolling will be needed to get the word out (again) that Plainsboro Road is off limits.
The next "Coffee" will be near the end of June. Chief Varga will not be joining me at that one so if anyone has a recommendation on who they would like to speak with, please let me know. My Township email is SGoetz@Cranbury-NJ.com
Thank you again to everyone who takes the time to let us know your thoughts on Township business. It helps us help you when we know and understand your concerns. - Susan |
