Cranbury doesn't have any traffice cameras. We do have sensors where there are turn lanes so as to expedite the efficiency of the traffic flow (i.e. if no cars are in the lane there shouldn't be any green arrow). |

in addition to the cameras there also white boxes that look like speakers. These are not just the intersections but also other sections coming in and out of some of the warehouses so they cannot have anything to do with traffic. I have also seen these boxes on Interstate 95 near the Philadelphia Airport. They seem to be some kind of chemical or radioactive sensors. Does anybody know for sure? |

Nothing to do with paranoia, it would actually be smart if that's what they were. They are not cameras there are no lenses on them if you would actually go take a look. |

The "cameras" are the replacements for the occupancy sensors in the road, so they don't have to replace them every time they repave.
The panels attached to the solar panels are traffic flow devices. When you see on the news the speeds at which traffic is flowing, this is where that data comes from. |
