Last One for 2014 - Coffee at Teddy's with the Mayor and the Chief

Before you head out on errands for that final weekend before Christmas, why not stop by at Teddy's and spend a moment with Chief Varga and myself. Talk with us about your issues or concerns, suggestions or questions. We will be there from 7-9AM and look forward to spending time with you.

I know I speak for Chief Varga and myself when I say that this was a terrific experience for both of us. We were thrilled to have a positive response and terrific dialogue at each of the events.

You came out and spent a bit of your early Saturday mornings with us and shared your concerns and comments. While both the Police and my co-members of the Township Committee always try to be available, we knew that sometimes speaking at a Township meeting may be inconvenient or a bit intimidating. So we were appreciative of the effort you made to share your thoughts and ask your questions.

We also need to give a special shout out to George and his wonderful staff at Teddy's. They allowed us to grab one of their tables during their morning rush and kept us and you satisfied with coffee, water or tea as soon as you sat down.

I have spoken with my fellow committeemen and we have agreed that some form of these outreach events will continue. Chief Varga is also committed to these efforts so please watch for announcements of the next event in 2015. Thank you - Susan and Chief Varga
