Doesn't look like they came close to anything other than the curb on th opposite side of the road. |

I have seen this truck driving 50 on Main Street with kids and pedestrians everywhere. Very frightening. This is not safe or acceptable especially when responding to alarm calls at warehouses. This should not be condoned. |

The driver has been involved in many accidents and has even hit a police car with the fire truck. |

How do you know it was the same driver?? I couldn't tell by the video who was driving. Maybe if they were going to your house then you wouldn't care if they hit curbs. |

How do you know it's the same driver? Ha that's hilarious. Anyone who has been in lived in Cranbury for more than a day knows who it is.
Maybe you wouldn't care if they were coming to your house? That is the oldest lamest argument out there. Mostly he is driving a 35,000-40,000 lb fire truck recklessly through the heavily pedestrian downtown to false alarms at warehouses. It's just inappropriate, dangerous, and scary as hell. There is no valid defense. Stop trying to defend and excuse this. It just has got to stop. Unless you truly feel he is above the law. |

You have got to be kidding! Let's make the firefighters obey the 25 mph speed limit! Every house built since the turn of the century will go up before the truck arrives should there be a fire. you hear the sirens, get out of the way! the sirens go on as son as they leave the station! |

Hey "You have got to be kidding"- why not just stop the hysterics and excuses. They are demeaning to all firefighters, police officers, Ems. There is simply no excuse for this individual continuing to operate a fire truck in this manner. What's worse or almost as bad as his behavior is everyone who continues to excuse. Day after day. Year after year. Stop it. It's not about ego. Stop sticking up for it. Is unacceptable. It is unsafe. |

i come on these posts every now and then to see what is going on in my old town and this has upset me. the woman in the video must have a vengeance out for the fire department, maybe a father of a child or someone else because her voice sounds staged and there are not even lights on on the firetruck. it is also sad because a CB radio is in the video so why is someone speaking bad of their own that they work together with to save lives. if this is all a joke it is not funny. previous comments mention a curb. if anyone had driven a vehicle i am sure they have clipped a curb on a turn. i apologize for the future children because this world has become ungrateful and full of anger. |

We should be very thankful for all the hours of volunteer work that the Firemen and Women provide to us. Some of these folks have spent lifetimes of community service. I think that any comments without first hand information are inappropriate and a smear on the Fire Company. I do believe that unless you were there or feel you can do better this discussion needs to come to an end. Thank You to The Firemen and Women of Cranbury---we as a town appreciate your efforts and are sure you are doing the best for us. |

It's not about the volunteers. It's about reckless, dangerous behavior. It's not smearing -it's acknowledging an obvious truth and asking those in charge to do something. A lifetime of volunteering is terrific. But a lifetime of volunteering has nothing to do with this behavior. It also has nothing to do with failing to stop this behavior. Stop trying to confuse and divert the issue. Stop making excuses. |

The Cranbury Vol. Fire Co. has been made aware of an online video posting regarding the operation of Fire Co. apparatus. We have reviewed the video along with Township officials and the Township attorney and can find no examples of unsafe driving as posted. There have been no formal complaints filed regarding unsafe operation of apparatus. If anyone would like to file an official report, please contact the Cranbury Vol. Fire Co. at the contact information below. Public safety is our top priority.

Obvious someone has a gripe with this 10 second petty video that shows nothing of importance. Focus on something more productive like the future redevelopment at OTR and Main Street. |

I hadn't watched it with the sound on before. The woman does sound like some over-the-top cliche script. "Oh. My. Gawd. I wish I had a snapchat!" Would would really say that? And why would you wish for a video when the person next to you is already recording one at that moment. And why would you pic a video format that is temporary and wouldn't be saved if the whole point is for people to see it? Weird.
And what was with the line that the truck was going to kill them? They were parked way out of the way so it seemed like a stupid comment. And the fire truck wasn't even going that fast. So it jumped a small curb, and slowing to almost a stop. Is that really that big a deal?
I have no knowledge of the other alleged dangerous driving of this truck operator on other occasions but this video sure doesn't make the case. As small a town as this is, and with the video obviously being made from some other rescue-related vehicle, you would think people could identify those taking the video pretty easily. |

This is an over sensationalized title used to grab attention if I ever heard one. There isn't any excuse for reckless behavior but what I see in this video is an emergency firetruck driver responding to an emergency call and not one bystander in sight. Who has never hit a curb? My problem is with whoever posted this video. Why are they trying to make something big out of this? Let's think before we post, once you post something you can't take it back. |
