When will the public be able to ask questions about the proposed drug and alcohol rehab facility? I'd like to be able to attend a meeting where we are allowed to speak and ask the people in charge of this some questions.
Is anyone in town actually in favor of this? |

I am not. I feel it will be a negative impact on Cranbury. Can these patients walk freely outside the facility? |

So, whats the deal? The hotel cant make it as a hotel anymore, so they want to make a rehab hospital out of the place? Sounds like poor planning on their part to me. But, do you really think that people will wander down that dangerous stretch of road to cause havoc here in town? Seems like a bit of a stretch to me. Who would want to live there though? |

And yet a new hotel of similar size is populated just down the street a little ways. Can't make it as a hotel, or not as profitable as a rehab facility (probably raking in public money for treatments)? |

Yes, I've seen people do that. Walk from the hotels either into town or to Buy Rite Liquors down the street. And they would have to walk past two schools to get there. |

Has there been action taken on the requested zoning variance? If so, was it approved or denied? Thanks. |

No this is still in the hearing phase. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept 2 at 7:30 in the large group room.
There have been postings here and I think the owner of this site will continue to sticky the date and time at the top of this site. |
