CLEAN-UP WEEKEND & EWASTE COLLECTION September 30th & October 1st

Clean-up weekend for Cranbury residents is September 30th and October 1st. Bring your
unwanted items to the DPW Yard at 100 Dey Road; the hours of operation will be 9:00 am to 3:00 pm,
rain or shine. The DPW crew will be on site to help unload your unwanted discards.

Acceptable materials include household items that are too large to fit inside your trash tote. If you
are uncertain if an item is acceptable, please call Town Hall at 609-664-3129 to ask.

NO household trash, paint or hazardous waste items will be accepted. Please do not be sneaky and
leave hazardous waste items at the DPW site for personnel to find. The Middlesex County has free
collection programs for these items.

This service is open to Cranbury residents only. Be prepared to show proof of residency, such as a
tax bill or driver license. Your driver’s license may state ‘Cranbury, NJ’ but it is not necessarily Cranbury
Township where you reside. View your tax bill; this will indicate what municipality you live in.

E-waste will be collected during this time.
Polystyrene will not be collected at this time.
Acceptable e-waste items (see below list), fluorescent bulbs (compact bulbs and tube bulbs no longer than
3’).

Its really too bad this wasn't sent out to the residents. Not person on our block knew anything about the Clean Up. The township sends out all sorts of info about ancient minutes but fails to send out a notice for the Clean Up!

It was in the fall newsletter that was emailed. If you are getting the meeting minutes you should have received that email, which had a link to the newsletter.

The fall and spring clean up are the same weekend each year. As the other poster noted this was also in the town newsletter. From seeing the cars and dumpsters plenty of people knew about it.
