There are still over 300 vote by mail ballots to be counted. So there are no winners yet.

These are not exactly the same as what is reported on the Middlesex County site, but perhaps the poster just made a typo. Have they really finished counting and certifying all the absentee and provisional ballots? That's surprising since people could have mailed their ballots as recently as yesterday and thats fast to resolve provisional ballots.

Jay seems safe. Congrats. Race still seems open between Wayne and Mike given they are only 4 votes apart and Mike has so far been the top voter getter amount the absentee ballots (242) and Wayne is a distant third in them (173). Seems like Wayne's strength was in live poll voters where he placed first. Anyone have any idea how many provisional or absentee have yet to be counted?

Yes, I posted the county votes and it was a typo. I tried to correct it, but the site did not allow the post. Mike has 1,009 votes. So a 4 vote gap. Ballots remain counted until Thursday so it is still anyone’s race. I think Jay is safe, but who knows.

We had 3 good people and this tight count shows.

You do realize that is not what was stated. There is no refund being paid to you. What was stated is that the rate would be reduced. You will get your savings via a lower tax rate.

Jay said the town should give the money back. I don't want a tax reduction next year. I want cold hard cash to spend. Shouldn't be that hard to do.

Ignore this poster. It is likely one of the people who sent the emails out don't vote Jay vote Wayne and Mike. Then suddenly went uh oh, when they realized it might get Mike voted out and changed to vote Mike and Andrew. Yes, I was contacted by a few people including a library board member with this comment.

This poster is a CRC supporter and indivisible poster who doesn't know anything and just wants to troll Jay because he told them where to go. I'll gladly take my tax reduction. Don't send me a one time check and keep my taxes high. Reduce my tax rate so it's savings year over year.

Oh stop it. Jay beat both of the other candidates on a shoestring budget without a single lawn sign or Facebook page. Why do Michael Ferrante supporters keep insisting that Jay Taylor is the only Jay Taylor supporter. Your candidate lost. You can all cry about it at your next Indivisible meeting.

How many write in votes did Andrew Huang get?

LOL --- this cracks me up. We get promised that residents get money back, and it already turns into "less of a tax increase" in the future. Hahahaha.

So much for promises made in Jay's letter to residents.

Show me the money!!!
