I agree with the above except their view on housing. Please watch the video and see the comments regarding their view that Monroe must be considered in planning. The Monroe stance is that we must change our plan in this area from warehouses to housing. To support consideration of Monroe is to entertain housing.

Barbara also supported housing over Penske.

Penske seems like a done deal. It’s going to very difficult to rezone from light industry to housing without changing the masterplan, which is kind of a big deal.

Agree it is a big deal.

The Masterplan is under review now. The change of a zone is only a simple majority vote of the TC. Even then as we saw with the development on Old Trenton rd the TC and PB can work together to make a change of use in the zone on an off cycle review of the master plan.

The two republican candidates will NEVER win a seat on the TC. You simply cannot attract young families to Cranbury for the excellent schools and expect them to support Republican science deniers to run the town.

Sadly, now that “progressives” are in charge of the Democratic Party, Democrats are now science-deniers, as well. Apparently, they don’t understand the fundamentals of Master Planning, either. I guess if you’re a progressive, you figure losing Princeton in 10 years won’t matter because in 12 years we will all be dead from climate change. Mr. Green

Science deniers? You need to explain yourself on that position...

"Sadly" this is a stupid and offensive statement by a brain dead Republican lemming. Don't disparage a small group of Democrats. Democrats have always been pro-science, progressive, liberal (give me liberty), and socialist (like social security) and believe in Live and let live. Not anything like the medieval repressive Republican climate change deniers, and evangelical conservative cavemen, who want to take us back to when people were even dumber than they are now.

Democrats used to laugh at the zealots parading around proclaiming “The End is Nigh”. Now Progressives are carrying the same signs. Progressives are now the ones denying basic biology, supporting sweeping powers of the FBI to spy on American citizens and suppressing free speech. These are NOT the liberal values we grew up with. “Progressivism” is essentially a religion for atheists.

The current Dems seeking to lead the town are not this way. They are restrictive of speech — see the TC rules Mike implemented and Matt calling his fellow members racist. They are looking to implement a civil Rights Commission which in its policy wants people to be reported if someone hears offensive language so they can speak with the person.

This group is not liberal live and let live, I will defend your right to free speech. It is very much a you must say and think this way and if not there will be repercussions.

Today’s “Progressives” are so blinded by their faith they don’t even realize how ridiculous they sound. Anyone who disagrees with them is clearly a “far right conservative white supremicist misogynist racist republican caveman”. There is no room for disagreement. Blind faith.

Here is something I find funny.

All board, Commission, and committee members have been appointed or reappointed by either Dave, Glenn, Jay or Susan. Some multiple times. Yet many of those people are now complaining about the TC board appointments. Does anyone else see irony here?

Barbara Rogers as chair of the EC is appointed to that role by the Mayor—Jay this year. Yet she is out saying the TC needs massive change in part because of board appointments. I wonder if people hear themselves.

The Board appointments for the last 8 years or so have been completely non-partisan. Which is great. So what exactly is wrong with that? They often seem to have to work hard to get people to volunteer for these positions. It's not like they have a line of people competing for the positions.

That is my point. The board appointments were never an issue look at this year in speaking with one TC member.

Planning Board- 2 people- A retired judge and a TC candidate who is a Republican and owns a construction business. Art was not reappointed.

Board of Health- 2 people A First Aid squad member and an attorney. No idea about their affiliations.

EC- 2 people A civil engineer and an Environmental professor at Rutgers

These are just some. But they are all highly qualified people for the boards they are on. Yet if you look here and on FB part of the reason cited by Indivisible people for getting rid of Glenn and trying to back door Jay last year is that the Jay, Dan and Glenn are making bad board appointments. This is why I think their logic is insane. They have always made appointments based on best people. They are just not appointing only Indivisible people though they have appointed Indivisible members too.
