April 3, 2020 - Update from Mayor Scott - COVID 19
Hello neighbors - I hope you all survived another week of Covid social distancing safely and with a smile.
Just a few updates from me to end the week:
Special thanks to members of the Cranbury community who dropped off FIVE HUNDRED KN95 MASKS for the Cranbury Police to use and share with first responders and local health care workers! These were organized through the HX Chinese School at Plainsboro (HXPCS) and the Central Jersey Chinese-American Association (CJCAA). My hospital (Newark Beth Israel), like so many others, is in desperate need of these masks.
Important for business owners: Applications are now being accepted for two different funding programs for small businesses: the N.J. Economic Development Authority's Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program and The US Cares Paycheck Protection Program. Applications are time-sensitive so if you think you could benefit from either program check out details today: https://www.njchamber.com/covid19 .
Finally, please remember that all dogs must remain on leashes in all Township parks, including the West Property. For all we're doing for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, let's make sure our unleashed dogs aren't the weakest link.
Enjoy the weekend and stay safe!
Mayor Matt Scott
