Be weary of recent online scams

Cranbury Police have been alerted to an online scam. The email of one of our Cranbury committee members has been compromised and several requests were sent to solicit purchases of Apple gift cards. Please be advised, do not fall victim of this scam. Do not purchase gift cards or supply personal information if requested.

Additionally, with the warmer weather, be weary of unscrupoulous contractors soliciting to perform home repair types of jobs. Some residents reported recent solictitations. Use due deligence in picking someone to perform house repairs. Check with the "BBB" to see if the home repair company is registered. Sign contracts for work to be completed. Report suspicious incidents to the Police.
