It would still be a great school without a performing arts center. I don't think anyone has a problem with updating the cafeteria or science classrooms. |

Congrats to Board for getting the much needed referendum past.
I am sure this will be on the Mayor’s update - probably his number one update! |

They "past" it? Or maybe "pasted" it?
Or do you mead "passed"? Hopefully the school will teach future generations how to spellcheck. |

Maybe we can get together to discuss my spelling in person.
You know who I am - who is this? ( I know ending a sentence in a preposition is also not great grammar, nor is spelling mean “mead”) |

We didn’t “need” a performing arts center. Also what is going to be the long term costs of this addition? What’s the going to be the cost of upkeep, maintenance on equipment? Not to mention with costs rising now due to the financial handlings of the current administration, what are you going to do when the projected costs come in higher than expected? |

Regardless, that ship has sailed. At least it was put to a vote that every taxpayer was invited to participate in. That's more than the library supporters were ever willing to do. They avoided a vote like the plague for over a decade. And in the scheme of like-to-haves I would take a performing space over the library or the Babe Ruth ball field or the brick paths on Main or the proposed bike paths. I'd probably vote the bike paths second. The ball field which is almost never used last. But in the end we were only allow to vote on one of them and the voters have spoken. |

The brine sidewalks cost the town nothing as it was a state beautification grant from the state. The only thing the town paid for was a couple extra street lights. |
