Some people are clearly bitter losers. They start a fake post about this volunteer activity being a waste of resources just to try and backchannel that into another rehash of the school referendum. Which passed with by a wide margin of victory. And snowbirds had plenty of opportunity to vote by mail.

But, sure, let's pretend that despite months of public meetings, transparency of the costs and scope available on public websites and plenty of naysayers here and elsewhere getting to say their problems with it over and over, that the result was underhanded. Because some people just can't accept that they did't get their way or that their views aren't shared by the majority.

It must be tough to walk around mad at the world.
Your clearly avoiding the obvious question as to why this special election was held a month after a major statewide general election. You can deny the truth as much as you want, but the fact is if they knew the majority favored the referendum there would’ve been no reason to have people vote a month later.

You got your answer, you just don’t like the answer. As stated previously, unless you are living under a rock how could you not be aware there was an election being held for the referendum. There were plenty of info sessions, info on the school and township websites, social media posts (including this forum), lawn signs, mailings and included in every Mayor’s update weeks leading up to the election. If they school was trying to be “sneaky” about it, why would they go to such lengths to let everyone know the election was happening? Your theory is weak, runs counter to the actions that were taken and suggests that if the election were held in Nov the outcome would be different. The ratio of “yes” to “no” votes indicates the outcome would be an approved referendum.

Typical move, taking your own behavior and accusing others of doing it to defect from the facts. It's already been answered why it was in December, many times. You simply are refusing to accept the answer and desperately trying to spin it into some shadowy conspiracy because that fits your narrative better than the reality that your preference wasn't the opinion of the majority. Your use of "facts" also suggests you don't understand the definition of the word. Either you didn't go to Cranbury School or they have improved their education since you have.

You can keep whining here and making up fake news, but it won't change the outcome. You lost. I know you won't move on because you're too petty for that. So we can keep remind you. You lost.

Have a great day. You still lost...

No I can accept the fact that the referendum passed, just didn’t like how it was done. Then to make matters worse I have to respond to idiotic questions and comments. If you can’t se this was done sneaky you are the person living the rock.

“Idiotic questions and comments” seriously?! Again, with all of the information and publicizing around town by the school, how could you possibly contend it was done “sneaky”? Primary elections aren’t held in November either. Few people are even aware of when primaries are held and don’t participate resulting in low turn out. I guess you would argue they are being sneaky too. I am glad it was done in December as a separate election rather than a ballot question at the bottom where people don’t even bother casting a vote. There was more discussion around town among all areas and groups about the referendum than there was about the contested races for township and board of ed combined. Taxpayers were engaged and informed whether they favored or not, there was nothing “sneaky” about that.

Someone’s getting a little upset. I guess you don’t like the fact that the school has been called out on a sneaky election. Just remember now that the Protinick farm is being developed with a 55 and older community you can kiss your school referendums goodbye! Oh wait, they didn’t notify anybody about the election less than a month after the general election.
