We love our Crandads, the fun music they play, their funny friendship with each other, and the great example they set for our kids - be happy and rock on!

As a member of Crandaddy, I have to agree with the D-bags that are bashing our band. We do suck. Who cares?

To me, rock 'n' roll is about having fun... and we have fun when we rock. Come to Brewsters and rock out with CRANDADDY. Who knows, maybe you'll get hammered and buy a CRANDADDY calendar, a CRANDADDY poster, or a complete set of CRANDADDY action figures (for the kids, of course). Or maybe you'll just have a good time, and what's wrong with that?
See you at the show!

Hey Peeps,
I felt really compelled to respond to the cat that's bashing Crandaddy.
As a member of the band, I have to say, I am really surprised that "this little thing of ours" could engender anything but high spirits and comraderie amongst the town folk.
So, in defense of Crandaddy, here's the deal:
We aren't professional musicians. We barely get a chance to practice because we all have careers, wives, families and all the perks that go along with it ... like Little League, Football, Soccer, In-Laws.... The list goes on and on.
Each of us takes a little time out of our hectic schedules to get together as friends and play music. We have never been paid for a gig... as a matter of fact... we play solely for charity. We raised money for the CPLL Little League, Autism, The PTO and now Toys 4 Tots.
We don't promote ourselves.... Sheeeeeit.... We don't even think we're that good.
What we have with Crandaddy is something very special. Its a bond of friendship and its an opportunity to do something we love while making people smile.
So, if you want to bash Crandaddy, be our guest. It's not gonna bother us. As a matter of fact, I don't think any of the C-Dads would trade a small cheering section of little kids for a gig at Madison Square Garden (especially if it was filled up with sour grapes jackasses like our friend from the post above).
We do appreciate all the support we have gotten on this board and look forward to playing for you all again.
Peace.
T

Let me guess, you're either a professional music critic or a seasoned musician. If you come packaged as anything less than that, please keep your thoughts to yourself and spare the rest of us from your constant band bashing routine.

What is the point in bashing these people?? They are just out to have a good time - if you dont like them then dont go see them - its that simple..... I dont ever remember reading that they said they were the greatest band ever - I have never seen them, but would like to whenever I get a chance.
Rock on crandaddys and dont let some of these people get ya down!!

I'm pretty sure it was just a joke. Relax. What's so hard to understand. It is a hometown band made up of local neighbors, dads, etc. People are being supportive. I don't think anyone has the expectations that the Beatles moved to town. What's the harm and what's the purpose in constantly trying to bring them down?
Agreed. I've never seen them perform, but my understanding is that they are just some guys from town who like to play small shows and want people to come out and have fun, promoting neighborliness. I don't understand all these comments like "Oh, they aren't
that
good!" They don't pretend to be a professional band. I saw Arcade Fire at MSG a few months ago, and it was amazing. So does that mean that if I go to this Halloween show I'm going to leave with a big chip on my shoulder because the Crandaddies show wasn't as good? Lighten up. If you don't like the band, don't go see them, but don't act like the people who support them are a bunch of philistines who wouldn't know a good band if it bit them in the behind

Hey Folks,
Crandaddy will be hosting a major Halloween costume party and live show for all of our friends and fans at Brewster's Pub. The bar is located on Route 130N (attached to East Windsor Bowl and next door to Dairy Queen).
Brewster's has already started promoting the show in Barfly magazine and you should start seeing flyers around town any day now.
We will have some great prizes for the best male and female costume and some great drink specials.
From 9pm till 2pm the bar is offering $3 Crandaddies (Vanilla Vodka, 7-up and Cranbury Juice), $1.50 Rolling Rock drafts and $1.00 PBR drafts.
The band will be playing a lot of cool dance music and we have a special guest singer joining us for some tunes on stage.
If you have never seen Crandaddy live at an indoor event, we strongly urge you to come out and join the mayhem at Cranspooky.
The band has been hard at work to bring you some great new material. We have over 3 hours of music and we are totally psyched to party with our friends.
There is no charge for the show.... its our gift to you. However, we have asked our friends from Toys for Tots to accept donations to help out the little ones that wont get to have a Cranbury type Christmas this year.
We hope to see many of you there on Saturday, October 30th.
Crandaddy
