Post subject: Re: Boat
from what I was told this is the answer...
http://cranburytownship.org/brainerd_lake_dam091510.html
The Township in partnership with the County of Middlesex has begun work on the repair of the Brainerd Lake Dam due to requirements of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Dam Safety (NJDEPBDS). The first phase of this work will be the submission of an application to the NJDEPDSS for review and approval. As part of the permitting process the consultants engaged by the County will be taking measurements, performing surveys and performing inspections of the dam and the surrounding area. The information gathered will be used to prepare plans and specifications for the permitting process and will be the basis of contract documents needed for bidding the work found to be required.
It is anticipated that these repairs/additions to the dam will occur in the fall of 2011. In the meantime for the past month or so, and for at least another month, the employees of the firms will be collecting information on the existing conditions. Some of the activities, surveying and environmental investigations, may encroach on privately owned property. We request that any flagging left by these investigations be left in place for the time being.
The companies performing these investigations are:
Najarian Associates of Eatontown, NJ
AEIS LLC of Flemington, NJ
The Township Engineer will provide news about the Brainerd Lake Dam Project on the Township’s Web Site. If you have questions contact Township Administrator, Christine Smeltzer at 395-0900 x224.
