| This would be great. It is a big problem in Shadow Oaks to walk your kids to the bus when sidewalks aren't cleared. You need to walk in the street which is dangerous, especially with the newer bussing routes, many have a longer distance to walk than just to their corner. | The Cranbury Township Committee is considering an ordinance that would require residents and businesses to remove snow from their sidewalks within a given period of time or face fines.
The ordinance, which could have included fines of up to $500, was proposed last month by Committeeman Jay Taylor after a number of residents contacted him asking that the committee consider a snow ordinance. http://eastwindsor.patch.com/articles/cranbury-considers-snow-removal-ordinance |
