Post subject: Re: Lake
From Jay Taylor's Facebook Page:
Yesterday:

I met with Public Works and our Engineer today. It seems our Dam is leaking substantial water from the east to west side. We lowered the lake water in order to hopefully rectify the situation and lessen any damage.
Today:

LAKE UPDATE
After a meeting with the township staff, our engineer, Dam Safety, Department, NJ DEP and County engineers it was determined that the lake level needs to be maintained at the low level to avoid any major structural damage to the bridge infastructure under the roadway.
The lake will remain at this level until the already planned repairs commence later this year and the leaks no longer pose a danger. The good news is that because of the planned repairs we had already begun the permitting process with the state of N.J.

Curious why did they drain the lake today? Tropical storm may or may not hit us until mid next week
