Apparently there is an old indian burial ground near the pin oaks property. Goodbye affordable housing, hello Pin Oaks Resorts! |

How about we introduce casino gambling in Cranbury?
"We're closer than Atlantic City" could be our slogan! |

Now this is forward thinking. Having this type of business would be great for our community.

Not only will it bring outside tourist dollars to the community and increase our ratables through the local hotels, food establishments, liquor store, gas stations and real estate market it will enhance the look of our community.
Way to go Mr. Shaw, count us in for some canned food. I only wish I had thought of this idea my kids would have loved it! |

A quote from the owner of this new small business boon:
“I always have all kinds of insane characters around my shop at all hours of the night,” he said. “Well one night last month a couple of my customers got more drunk and high than usual and decided to vandalize the whole neighborhood. And now the town’s blaming me for that.”
We have so many families and such a nice community...why would we want to attract drunk, high and destructive here? Win Cody must be out of his mind. I hope this is a joke or I misread the intention to relocate to Cranbury in this article. |

Don't worry the guns and ammo store will allow the people to shoot each other.
I think it's funny how many people take the Cranbury Sauce for real. I actually had people asking me about the erotic expo at the Inn. |

Rateables, easier access as opposed to driving to a store, another business to help get involved in our town. |

Lets get real. The economy today is not the economy of 30-40 years ago. Downtown Mom & Pop shops have to compete with nearby malls and online business as well. Small towns, especially those with hostile commerce boards, have THE most difficult time of all. The best option for Cranbury is a plethora of antique shops. Every town that i visit that has an antiques area seems to do quite well. Lafayette, Andover, a small section of Red Bank. and others, have an area of town which hosts several shops more or less clumped together. It's THE ideal solution for this small town's business needs. Forget about a deli, pharmacy, hardware store or bank. They're all out on the highways now to gain from the traffic. If you still want a small town atmosphere, you need small town businesses. |

Thats a funny article. Too bad the powers that be think the residents are not serious about these problems. I cant wait for another year of delays and excuses. At least the hired professionals won't mind. They make out like bandits on every dollar we waste on indecision. Our deepest historical roots lie in poor planning and bad zoning. I say its time for some real action. |
