All the dealers in NJ I talked to priced the car at MSRP ($17,370; no haggle; it's Scion's "pure pricing"). <br /> <br />Then I found on the Internet that a dealer in PA (about 200 miles from Cranbury) was selling the car BELOW invoice, which is $16,545. The price I obtained was $16,176. <br /> <br />So, I worked with the dealer in PA over the phone to finalize the deal, drove 200 miles to the dealership, paid for the car, and drove the new car home. <br /> <br />Once my check for the car was cleared, I called the dealer and asked them to FedEx me the "Certificate of Origin" for the car, so I could title and register the car (need to register the new car within 10 days of purchase). <br /> <br />Once I had the "Certificate of Origin", I went to the MVC near Quaker Bridge Mall to get the title. I transferred the plates (and paid registration) from my old car to the new car. <br /> <br />After paying $60 for the title and tax for the car, I had the car inspected there (using the short "re-inspection" lane), got the inspection sticker (good till 2013) affixed to the windshield, and completed the whole car buying process. <br /> <br />I highly recommend this dealer for getting a good deal (car prices have increased due to the popular "cash-for-clunkers" program; wait till Sept. or Oct. to get the 2010 models if you plan to buy a new car this year): <br /> <br /><a href="http://www.fitzmall.com/" target="_blank">http://www.fitzmall.com/</a> <br /> <br />P.S.
