Any good recommendations for a landscape designer? I'd like someone who can come up with a coordinated plan for a hardscaping, landscaping, pool, pergola, etc. So far most of the "landscapers" I have met locally are somewhat flakey and none have the whole picture -- they either are plant guys that do patios or patio guys that do plants and none have a real holistic design sense. Thanks.
Lark Farm & Nursery does have an architect on staff...

CVDA out of Doylestown is a real landscape architect. If you want someone to design pavers around your pool and some nice bushes around your tract house these are NOT the right people. They are good, they are expensive. They are worth it, but only if your project is of a certain scale. If you do want some pavers but down and some nice shrubbery, the landscappers that have been mentioned here can do a fine job.

Thanks. I left a message. The person I spoke with said they more or less were on vacation for the summer (I assum beach house) but that they came back a day or so a week to check things out. She also sounded vague on whether they provide a true landscape architecture design service which is what I'm looking for and not just a landscaper.

Joe is great. He is not a designer. Once you have a design Joe is the guy to go to . A designer is a very tricky thing. If you want the type of design you see in most new developments, no problem. Almost any designers can com up with that. If you want something different, be prepared for a long search.
