[quote="Guest"]The IRS is set to return money collected via Americans' phone bills to pay for the Spanish-American War. Individuals will have the opportunity to determine the claim value of their FET refunds by using one of two options: * OPTION #1 (also known as the "Standard Amount") Individuals will be able to claim a “standard FET claim value” refund on their 2006 IRS form 1040, 1040A, or 1040Z based upon a value determined by the IRS general rules. No documentation is needed. The IRS has finalized this procedure. * OPTION #2 (also known as the "Calculated Amount) Individuals will be able to claim a refund on their 2006 IRS form 1040, 1040A, or 1040Z based upon the actual FET amounts billed and paid using your Telecom Vendor Statement and/or invoice documentation for the defined 41 month period. Post subject: How to get a tax refund for paying a 1898 war
The IRS is set to return money collected via Americans' phone bills to pay for the Spanish-American War.
