Dr. Genco comes to us with experience in K-8 and K-12 suburban districts <br />that have highly valued student achievement, encouraged service learning, supported visual and <br />performing arts and enhanced gifted education. <br />Dr. Genco began her educational career as a school psychologist in the Hazlet School District <br />and later became a supervisor of curriculum/instruction and special services at Spring Lake <br />Heights Elementary School in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. <br />Currently, she serves as the principal of Emma Havens Young Elementary School in Brick, New <br />Jersey, and had previously served as principal of Drum Point Road Elementary School, also in <br />Brick. Dr. Genco earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Rowan University and <br />believes strongly in global education, service learning and constructivism. <br />Dr. Genco possesses all of the leadership qualities that one needs to succeed in the dual role of <br />Chief School Administrator and Principal and exhibits a true love for children. The Board <br />believes that Dr. Genco will be a good fit to Cranbury School and will add something special to <br />our community.
